Our basic, standard bed package consists of the
1/8" tread plate deck with smooth 10-gauge side rail perimeter
with stake pockets welded into them. The front tread plate sheet
is folded upward into the headache rack to form a seamless
corner and to strengthen the front of the bed. The headache rack
is made of 2 X 3 inch tubing that is angled to complement the
slope of the truck cab, and has a louvered glass guard and
sunshade with the rear view mirror opening. Grab handles are
included on each side, as are spare tire mounting nuts.
The drop hitch features a 3/4" X 6" hitch plate
with three 1" holes. Angle irons bridging from the hitch plate
up to the rear deck corners add stability. Six-formed channel
cross members 4" high and 4" structural channel sills complete
the deck construction. Also included in the package are the mud
flaps, fuel fill necks, mounting brackets, and tail lighting.
Clearance lights, backup lights, and brake/turn signal lights
are rubber mounted, sealed beam, waterproof lights.
